Joiin QuickBooks: how the connection works
Joiin connects to QuickBooks Online company by company: an Admin user of each company connects it, and Joiin refreshes the data every 24 hours or on demand from the Companies page. The steps are Add Company, Add QuickBooks Company, then Connect, and several companies can be connected at once within the subscription.

Try Joiin →What Joiin reads from each QuickBooks Online company
Joiin works alongside your QuickBooks Online files and does not replace them. Accounts with the same type and name combine into one line by default, and the setting can be changed. Each company gets its own column beside a consolidated total, and Joiin's Companies page sets the order of companies in report filters and in its Compare by Company view. Joiin says it creates group reports from QuickBooks Online companies with intercompany eliminations, multi-currency options and custom reporting.
Mapping accounts and eliminating between QuickBooks companies
Chart-of-accounts mapping, which lines up each company's accounts to one group chart, is on every Joiin plan. An elimination takes an intercompany item out of the group figures so it is not counted twice, and Joiin sets it up in an elimination group, which picks the accounts or contacts on each side of an intercompany item together, by account, by contact or by transaction.
Contact and transaction eliminations work for Xero and QuickBooks companies only, and elimination by contact changes only the sales and purchasing reports. Adjustments are posted inside Joiin. See intercompany eliminations in QuickBooks Online.
QuickBooks Desktop and Intuit Enterprise Suite
Joiin connects QuickBooks Online directly, while a QuickBooks Desktop company comes in through spreadsheet data. Intuit Enterprise Suite is named among the accounting systems on Joiin's pricing page.
Joiin vs QuickBooks: what each does
QuickBooks keeps each company's books, and Joiin works alongside them and reports across companies. Each QuickBooks Online company is its own paid subscription. Intuit's own group route is Spreadsheet Sync on QuickBooks Online Advanced, $340 a month per company at list price. Pick JustConsolidate to keep the consolidated books inside QuickBooks, or QuickBooks Online Advanced for Intuit's own tool. The full list is in consolidation software for QuickBooks.
Connecting your QuickBooks Online companies is part of Joiin's 14-day trial on Max, and no card is taken. Read the Joiin review for the plans, or how to consolidate multiple companies in QuickBooks Online for every route.
