How the Joiin free trial works

Joiin's free trial lasts 14 days and runs on Max, its most complete plan, so every feature of the higher plans is on while you try it. You start without choosing a plan and without entering card details. Joiin's pricing page puts the trial first and the choice of Core, Pro or Max after it, and its trial button reads "Start 14-day free trial".

What happens on day 14

On day 14 you choose Core, Pro or Max inside the app, and your data, connections and reports stay as they are. The trial needs no card: Joiin takes none at signup and charges nothing unless you choose a paid plan after 14 days. As read on October 30, 2026, Core for 2 companies is $41 a month, billed monthly.

What Core and Pro drop after the Max trial

Core reports in one currency. Pro adds several reporting currencies, forecasting, global search, AI agents and the Excel Add-In. Max adds your own exchange rates, MCP (Joiin's connection for outside AI assistants) and more.

Joiin's pricing grid lists the Excel Add-In on Pro and Max, although its Excel Add-In page says it is included in all pricing plans. Joiin's pricing grid puts your own exchange rates on Max; its multi-currency page does not say which plan. The Joiin review reads the grid plan by plan.

Take a franchise owner with three US companies on QuickBooks Online and one Canadian company kept in Canadian dollars. The Max trial includes several reporting currencies, so that group can be set up in US dollars while you try it. Joiin's grid lists one reporting currency on Core and several on Pro and Max, which makes the Canadian company the reason to price Pro.

The first bill after the trial

Joiin bills in advance, monthly or annually, by credit or debit card, and renews automatically. Annual totals are on Joiin pricing.

No free plan and no money-back guarantee

Joiin's pricing page offers a free trial, not a free plan, and states no money-back guarantee. Its terms mention refunds in one place only, to refuse them when a third-party provider causes the problem.

You can cancel any time in the settings; Joiin's terms say your data is kept for up to 12 months after cancellation, so export your reports first.

Trials from Fathom, Spotlight Reporting, JustConsolidate and Reach Reporting

Fathom, the financial reporting app (fathomhq.com), offers 14 days with no credit card and says all functionality is included in its trial. Spotlight Reporting offers 14 days. Reach Reporting offers 30 days with no credit card during the trial. JustConsolidate's trial runs at least 30 days and until the first consolidation is posted.
