Try Joiin →Fathom: QuickBooks Desktop and large groups
Fathom prices by the number of companies connected, monthly only, in US dollars excluding sales tax, and consolidated groups cost nothing extra. Its trial is 14 days with no credit card. Fathom's pricing page says it consolidates up to 300 entities across systems and currencies, while its consolidation page says multi-currency consolidations are supported for up to 50 entities.
Fathom lists Xero, QuickBooks Online and Desktop, MYOB, FreeAgent, Excel and Google Sheets as integrations and says entities from Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB or Excel can be consolidated together. Fathom says it does not natively support partial ownerships or minority interests, and offers an Excel import as a workaround. JustConsolidate: QuickBooks groups on one capped plan
JustConsolidate has one fully featured plan, billed monthly with no contract: $50 for 2 companies, $65 for 5, $90 for 10 and $140 for 20, capped at $165 a month from 25 companies. A new QuickBooks company holds the consolidation, and its price does not include that QuickBooks subscription, which is paid to Intuit.
The trial runs at least 30 days and until the first consolidation is posted. JustConsolidate connects QuickBooks companies only, taking others by manual journal entry. Joiin vs JustConsolidate has the detail.
Spotlight Reporting and Syft
Spotlight Reporting's US business page lists $35 a month for 1 organization, Business 10 at $329 a month for up to 10, and a franchise plan at $329 a month for up to 10 plus a head office; prices exclude sales tax, and it offers a 14-day free trial. Spotlight's pricing page says its business plans consolidate up to 50 entities and its Multi product up to 500.
Syft's pricing page lists Standard at $23 a month and Plus at $47 a month; Syft prices each connected entity, and its trial is 14 days on any plan with no card. Reach Reporting and Intuit Enterprise Suite
Reach Reporting prices by data connection, not company: $149 a month for 1 and $290 for 10, with a 30-day trial that takes no card. Its help center says Xero companies consolidate only with other Xero companies, while QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop companies can be consolidated together.
Intuit Enterprise Suite has no public price: Intuit builds a bundle and agreement with each buyer. Intuit calls it a category of software distinct from QuickBooks Online and Desktop, and its multi-entity page says it does not support entities outside the US at this time.
When Joiin is still the fit
Joiin fits a group of 5 to 10 companies on QuickBooks Online, Xero or Sage Accounting with partly owned companies and a second currency: it lets you assign an ownership percentage to each entity, and Pro and Max report in several currencies. Joiin itself can be tried for 14 days on Max with no card, a fair baseline for these six.
A group with a company kept in a second currency would price Joiin Pro, Fathom, which lists multi-currency consolidations with eliminations, or an Excel workbook, which needs the same labels in every sheet. Best financial consolidation software sorts all of them by job.
