Is Joiin legit: what its listings and terms show

Joiin is a listed, documented product: Xero's US App Store and the QuickBooks App Store both carry it, and its terms set out card billing, canceling at any time and data retention.

Joiin's Terms of Use, last updated May 5, 2026, name a contracting company registered in England and Wales, are governed by English law and send disputes to the English courts, which a US buyer should know. Joiin says it launched in 2018 and is based in the UK with customers worldwide.

Xero lists Joiin with four other apps in its US collection for multi-entity businesses, and says that although it reviews each app, it cannot give guarantees.

What Joiin can read and change in your books

Joiin pulls data from your accounting files and builds reports from it; its Xero help article says it writes nothing back to Xero. An Admin user connects each QuickBooks Online company, and a Xero user with Standard (with Reports) or Advisor permission adds a Xero organization. Joiin refreshes company data every 24 hours and on demand.

Joiin says it runs entirely on Amazon Web Services, offers two-factor sign-in and leaves card details with Stripe, its billing provider. The Joiin review covers what each plan includes.

Billing, cancellation and your data

Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically. Plan changes take effect on your next billing date, prices may change with notice in your next billing cycle, and a failed payment can suspend access.

You can cancel any time in the settings; Joiin's terms say your data is kept for up to 12 months after cancellation, so export your reports first. The software exports to Excel and PDF.

Does Joiin work for a group like yours

Joiin says a CFO-services firm consolidated 31 QuickBooks Online entities in under 30 minutes and a ten-company group cut month-end consolidation from three days to under 30 minutes; these are Joiin's claims about its customers. The documented limits decide fit: contact and transaction eliminations work only for Xero and QuickBooks companies, Sage desktop products come in by manual import, and Core reports in one currency.

What Joiin's pages leave unstated

No free plan or money-back guarantee appears on Joiin's pricing page, and its terms mention refunds once, to refuse them when a third party causes the problem. How US sales tax is added to the invoice is not stated; Joiin's help center covers UK VAT only. Support comes by chat, email and a help center; availability may vary by plan, per Joiin's terms.
